1988
September
Joris meets Wan De Brabander and they start a Psychobilly band.

December
The 1st gig at a high school party.
Name of the band was Sergeant Plancke's Only Farts Club Band, a snear at the school principal Plancke.

1989
Februari
The Swamprats.
Members: Dave Van Gestel (vocals), Wan De Brabander (guitar), Benny Jansen (double bass), Joris Govers (drums).
After one week Dave quits and gets replaced by Jo Versmissen.

August
Jo gets replaced by Ben Van Haegedoren.The name of the band changes into Boozy.

1990
March
Boozy's stage debut takes place on March 3 during the 3rd Wreckin' Festival, where they share the bill with a.o. Demented Are Go! (UK), Torment (UK) and The Frantic Flintstones (UK).

November
Boozy plays at the 3rd Big Rumble Weekender in Hemsby (UK).

1991
Nervous Records releases the Compilation CD "Live At The Big Rumble" , featuring Boozy with the song "Boozy", recorded live in Hemsby.

July
Boozy records a demo tape, which is sent to several record companies and concert promotors.

1992
November
Boozy's last concert at "The Cave" in Turnhout (B).
They decide to continue without singer Ben, deviding the vocals between Benny and Joris, and changing their name to The A-Bombs.

1993
Fury Records releases the Compilation LP "Rumble Party — Volume 1" featuring Boozy with "Scrpits Of Buffoons".

October
The A-Bombs' debut concert takes place on October 2 during the Safe Pop Festival in Noorderwijk (B), where they share the bill with The Long Tall Texans (UK).

1995
March
Joris is asked to join a new Rockabilly bandWan is starting with Koen Verbeek This band will later evolve into Los Fabulous Frankies.

April
The German Tombstone Records is interested in releasing an A-Bombs CD, but the band decides to quit. On April 22 The A-Bombs make their last appearance as support act for Restless (UK).
